Kings wildebeest bull (Rooibokkraal) January 2017 Sold 24 Months old This bul has a large body, and should easily mate with 20 heifers this year Wildebeest horns keep growing until 32 to 34 months old. The average horn size of adult kings wildebeest bulls, are currently 23.5" to 24". We measured this bull on November (22 months old). He measured then already 23.5", which is the same as the average horn size of adult bulls. He has grown an estimated 1" since then, and should still grow another 8 months. The chances are very good that this bull will measure 26" to 26.5" as an adult. Large horn kings wildebeest bull (Rooibokkraal) Januarie 2017 Sold 24 Months old Exceptional kings wildebeest bull, with fantastic large horns at only 24 months old. The bull was measured on 21 to 22 months old. Measurement was then 26.25", and is estimated now to be 27" on only 24 months old. He is already 2.5" to 3.5" larger than the average adult kings bull in South Africa, and his horns are still growing for another 8 months. Other kings bulls from the same breeding camp, who had similar horns at this age, grown out to be 28" to 28.5". The chances are very good that this bull can be a 28+" kings wildebeest bull, making him one of the largest bulls in SA. Every year we see kings calves born at my clients who bought split buls from Kruger before. These bulls are the father. Another one of my clients bough a split kings bull from Kruger van Zyl. Last year he took that split bull's heifer calves and put them with a kings bull. This December the heifers calved, giving him a few beautiful kings calves. The cow do not have a spot, but the calf has a spot The breeder changed breeding bulls in this camp. The new bull chases the cow from time to time, and therefore we do not think that she is pregnant now.
